Here are some of our year 4 pupils enjoying a wide range of scientific exploration: circuits; water life; planetarium; chemistry and molecules; acids and alkalies; floating and sinking. A great day, lots of fun and lots of “concentrating faces”!
Today we had a visit from the police. We discussed feeling safe and unsafe. When secrets are fun, like a birthday surprise, and when secrets may make us feel bad – that’s when to tell an adult.
We learned about explorers long ago from Britain who discovered new lands. They found gold, jewels, spices and foods. The British sold guns to Africa. They took slaves to the West Indies. Here slaves grew sugar, tobacco and cocoa. This … Continue reading
